This guide covers the steps common to CoralPlast filters. Start by assembling the model you purchased, then adjust the float switch once the filter is installed in the sump.
Before you start
A few checks prevent most operating issues.
Check fleece movement and float position, and unplug the filter during maintenance that causes an unusually high water level.
Choose the assembly video
Each model has its own assembly details.
CP-Control PLUS — AP mode
Local setup through the controller Wi-Fi network.
Power on the controller
Wait 20 to 30 seconds for the Wi-Fi network to appear.
Temporarily disable mobile data
This prevents the phone from looking for Internet access instead of opening the local interface.
Connect to the network
Choose the SSID shown on the label, for example CP-Controller-XXXX. Password: 123456789.
Open the interface
In the browser, enter http://192.168.4.1 then select your language.
Final installation and float adjustment
The float switch determines when the filter advances.
Install the filter in its position
Check that the fleece runs correctly over the rollers and that water flows through the filter as intended.
Start with the float high
Place the sensor as high as possible at first to avoid excessive fleece consumption.
Adjust after the filter loads
As the filter becomes loaded and the water starts to reach the overflow, slowly lower the sensor until it activates.
Monitor the first week
Regularly check fleece movement, float position and that nothing is jammed.
Quick troubleshooting
Simple checks before contacting support.
The filter advances too often
The float is probably too low or the fleece is incorrectly positioned. Raise the float and check water flow.
The motor does not stop during the test
Cut the power and check the float switch connection before returning the filter to service.
The 192.168.4.1 page does not open
Stay connected to the controller Wi-Fi even if the phone says “no Internet access”, then temporarily disable mobile data.
Checklist before use
One final quick check.
Check
- Watched the video for your model.
- Fleece correctly positioned on the rollers.
- Controller tested manually.
- Float switch adjusted gradually.
- Filter monitored during the first week.
Avoid
- Setting the float too low from the start.
- Leaving the filter powered during maintenance that greatly raises the water level.
- Running the motor dry for a long time.
